Overview

Copy It All is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. All processing (copying text, capturing screenshots, exporting styles) happens locally in your browser.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal or sensitive data. The extension does not send page content or user information to external servers. Settings and lightweight history metadata are stored locally via the browser’s chrome.storage APIs.

Permissions & Rationale

• activeTab / tabs: Access the current tab context only after user action to perform copy or capture.
• scripting: Inject packaged code (hover picker/extractors) into the page to enable copying.
• downloads: Save screenshots and exported CSV/ZIP files when the user requests an export.
• offscreen: Perform image stitching/cropping/ZIP assembly offscreen without disrupting the page.
• contextMenus: Provide optional right‑click shortcuts for capture and actions.
• storage: Store user preferences and local history metadata on the device.
• host permissions: Allow the extension to operate on sites the user chooses.

Clipboard & Downloads

Clipboard writes and downloads occur only after explicit user actions (clicks or shortcuts). We do not read clipboard contents. Files generated by the extension are saved locally.

LLM Integrations

When you click “Open” for an LLM (e.g., ChatGPT, Grok, Google AI Studio), the extension opens a new browser tab to that site. We do not transmit your content to external servers; content is pasted into the site’s input field only within your browser context, subject to your explicit action and the site’s rules.

Third‑Party Services

The extension does not embed remote executable code. All scripts ship with the extension.
